This shot really deserves a few words, as it is one which could have easily fallen on either side of the "timing" scale (being too early or too late), But as the photographer said, the timing was perfect.

The lighting on the model is amazing. Facial features have depth and yet everything is well lit. Superb! This is especially impressive considering the amount of black in the model's costume. It would have been easy to lose structure there.

The vibrant green of the grass and lovely blue of the sky works well together (isn't nature amazing) but the scarlet of the sash brings the focus back to center in a BIG way.

The grass blades flying through the air and nicely focused fox tails add to the motion of the shot.

I don't have much of anything negative to say about this shot. There is a telephone pole in the background, but it is barely noticeable. There are birds (or dirt specs, or maybe tiny bits of flying grass?) which speckle the shot and detract from the impact of the larger "leafy bits".

The grey haziness of the low horizon doesn't lend itself well to the overall WOW factor- though after careful reconsideration of the shot, returning to study it several times, I think the haziness is actually a good break from the punch of the green and high blue.

Well done, I love it! Such talent should be commended all the way around.
